Obituary of Antonette Acquazzino

Antonette Acquazzino age 59 passed away on November 27, 2018 at home. She was the beloved daughter of Maria Aquazzino and devoted sister of Joseph Aquazzino, Rosemarie Hosmer and Susan Sveva. She was the devoted long time companion to George Ruiz. She was a loving aunt to Frank Hosmer, Nicole Tortora , Melissa Ferlazzo, Laura Acquazzino Christie Acquazzino, Frank Sveva and Nicholas Sveva. She was also a great aunt to 7 nieces and nephews. Antonette was born in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Staten Island as a young girl where she resided most of her life. She enjoyed spending time with her mother and her family. Our hearts are broken today for the loss of our daughter, sister, aunt and friend.

In addition to sending flowers, the family would also appreciate donations be made in Antonette's memory to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.

Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 2508 Victory Blvd., On Friday, departing at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass will be held in Holy Family R.C. Church at 10:00 AM. Private cremation to follow. Family and friends may visit on Thursday from 6:00 to 9:00 PM.
