Obituary of Wilfredo H. Paderon

Wilfredo H. Paderon, age 63, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Marilen (nee Montenegro) for 36 years; loving father of Jeoffrey Paderon (Rebecca), Joanne Sheff (Jonathan), Jason Paderon (Coleen) and Jordan Paderon (April); cherished "Lolo" of Marcus, Abigail, Mikaella and Keira; dear brother of Ludivina Bautista (Willy), Ellinore Layos (Jose Antonio), Catherine Guinto (Ed), and Cecil Agpoon (Anthony) and the late Conrado Paderon, Jr. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Mr. Paderon was born in 1955, in Manila, Philippines, to his parents, Conrado and Luningning. He emigrated to the United States in 1978. Upon his arrival in the United States he worked for the Philippine Center Information Office. Later on he worked in the auto industry, working his way up from a sales person to General Manager. Wilfredo was very involved with the Staten Island Filipino Community and acted as a Chairman of SIPAG for over ten years.

He enjoyed cooking and rooting for NY sports teams, but most of all loved spending time with his family. He was known to be very hospitable and generous , always showing his love by giving gifts to his friends and family.

Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Saturday, departing at 9 am. Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled at 9:30 am at Holy Family R.C. Church. Committal to follow in Rosehill Crematory, Linden, NJ. Family and friends may visit on Thursday from 6:00 to 9:00 pm and Friday from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
