Obituary of Theodore Park

Theodore Park, age 66, passed away on December 13, 2018 at home in the arms of his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Ae Soon Park for 36 years and loving father of Hanna and Monica. Theodore Park was born in Busan, South Korea in 1952 and emigrated to the United States in 1982 at age 30, settling down in Staten Island. He was a hardworking, self-employed proprietor. Theodore loved bringing people together and serving as a deacon at his beloved Marn Baek Sung United Methodist Church. He was an active man who loved the outdoors and brought joy to many lives. Visitation at the Marn Baek Sung United Methodist Church (1250 Rockland Avenue) on Saturday from 7:30 to 10:00 pm, and at the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. Funeral departing the funeral home on Monday, 12/17, at 10:15 am, with services scheduled at Marn Baek Sung United Methodist Church at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Moravian Cemetery.
