Obituary of Patricia M. O'Neill

012-19 Patricia M. O'Neill (nee Mooney), age 74, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2019. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles T. O'Neill (1991); loving mother of Tim O'Neill Jr. (Natalie), John O'Neill, Michael O'Neill (Marie), Maureen O'Neill, William O'Neill, and Kathleen O'Neill (Peter Perrotta); cherished grandmother of Nicollette, Kristyn, John, Ryan, Amanda, Emily, Michael, James, Tyler, Louis, Jessica, Anthony and Lucas; devoted great-grandmother of Ayden; dear sister of the late John Mooney. Mrs. O'Neill was born in Brooklyn in 1944, and raised there. She was a graduate of Tilden High School. She was employed for 17 years as an Administrator for Brooklyn College, retiring in 2017. Some of her hobbies included reading and shopping from QVC. She also made delicious lasagna according to her children. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Thursday at 8:45 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Clare's R.C. Church at 9:45 am. Interment to follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
