Juliet Carter posted a condolence

I was so sad to hear of the passing of Uncle Gus. I have so many wonderful memories of him, but one of the funniest memory is when my mother his sister Frances was fixing her house and she took the wallpaper off the wall. He had come to visit her and she was not home (we were living on 16th street). He wrote a letter to her on the wall in big letters. It said Dear Fooza (that was her nickname). I was here but you weren’t. Love your brother Gus! He had the best sense of humor and always made you laugh. He was the last of the brothers and sisters and I know they are all together now watching over us. Rest In Peace Uncle Gus
Love Juliet.
