Obituary of Jason R. Weeks

Jason R. Weeks, age 45, passed away on January 20, at Staten Island University Hospital. He was the beloved son of George and Pamela Weeks; loving brother of Brian Weeks; devoted uncle of Victoria Lynn and Brian Weeks, Jr. Mr. Weeks was born in Brooklyn in 1973 and raised in Greenpoint. Jason graduated from the LaSalle Academy High School in Manhattan. He moved to the Grymes Hill neighborhood of Staten Island and attended Iona College and also the College of Staten Island. He was employed by Local Union One and employed as an Elevator Mechanic. Jason loved sports, especially basketball and football, rooting for the Knicks and Jets. He also enjoyed travelling, especially to Las Vegas. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Thursday, departing at ----. Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at Our Lady of Pity R. C. Church at ----. Private cremation to follow. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 and Wednesday from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
