Obituary of Robert W. Murawski

Mr. Robert W. Murawski, age 88, of Travis, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2019. He was the beloved husband of Dolores for 65 years; loving father of Carol Liszewski (Anthony), and Robert Murawski (Claire); cherished grandfather of Laurie Peterson, Daniel Peterson, Robert (Katherine), Claire, Megan, and Tiffany Murawski; devoted great-grandfather of Adalynn Grace; dear brother of Mildred Grasso, the late Charles Murawski, the late Jeannie Hansen, and the late Alice Murawski. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Robert was born on Staten Island in 1930 and raised in Travis. He was employed for over 36 years for Liquid Carbonic Company as an Acetylene Filler. Some of his hobbies included listening to music, riding motorcycles, working in his shop, and gardening. Robert also enjoyed cruising and working on projects around the house. Funeral Service at the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., on Thursday, at 10 am. Interment will follow in Moravian Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
