Obituary of Anthony DeNiro

Anthony DeNiro, 36, of Huguenot, passed away on February 19, 2019, at Staten Island University Hospital South. He was the beloved son of Dennis DeNiro and ToniAnn Graffino-Carroll; dear brother of Dana DeNiro; devoted uncle of Gia "his munchkin," and loving grandson of Anthony Graffino. Mr. DeNiro was born in 1982 and raised in Huguenot and graduated from The Institute of Art and Design in Manhattan. Some of his hobbies included drawing, eating, traveling. He was very creative, who was very much into fashion, especially sunglasses and cologne. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his niece, Gia. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Saturday, departing at 8:30 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph/St. Thomas R.C. Church at 9:30 am. Entombment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 10:00 pm.
