Obituary of Dominic Narciso

Dominic Narciso, age 89, passed away on February 28, 2019. He was the beloved husband of the late Katherine. He was the loving father of Richie Narciso and his wife Lisa and Suzette Ward and her husband Chris. He was the cherished Poppy D of Samantha Passalacqua and her husband Anthony, Richard Jr., Olivia, Francesca and Isabella. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Dominic was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. After graduating High School he joined the Army and served his country honorably. Dominic returned home and met and married his wife of 49 years Katherine. Together they were blessed with two wonderful children, Richie and Suzette. In 1974, they moved to Staten Island where they raised their family. Dominic was well known in the neighborhood for his vegetable garden. The neighbors were especially fond of his tomatoes. He was very proud of them and would offer them to any of his neighbors. In his spare time he enjoyed watching old Western movies, doing crossword puzzles but most importantly he loved spending time with his grandchildren. In his later years, Dominic moved in with his daughter in Long Island where he lived until his passing. Dominic will be remembered as a strong, caring and hard working man who always put his family first. He was a dedicated and selfless man who will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure to know him. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard,.
