Obituary of Ralph N. Trocchia

Ralph N. Trocchia, 86, of Westerleigh, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2019, at Silver Lake Nursing Home. He was the beloved husband for 60 years of Vera (nee DeLorenzo); loving father of Laurie Davis (Kevin), Ralph Trocchia, Theresa Muscara (Vincent), and Andrea Passero (Bill); cherished grandfather of Michael & Robert Davis, Nicole & Christina Passero, and Gina Muscara; dear brother of Mario Trocchia, and Concetta Napodano (Luke). Mr. Trocchia was born in Brooklyn, raised in Bensonhurst, and graduated from New Utrecht High School. After graduation, he enlisted with the Marines, and served proudly for three years. He was honorably discharged as a Sergeant. He was employed for Mobil Oil for many years and retired as a Manager of General Services. In his spare time he enjoyed bowling and rooting for the former Brooklyn Dodgers. He thoroughly enjoyed his days at work and spending time with his family. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Friday, departing at 11 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Family R.C. Church at 11:30 am. Entombment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
