Condolences to the family, all friends, neighbors & colleagues of Larry's. Larry will always be remembered as an intelligent & forceful activist in politics and labor who gave 100% of his efforts to his missions. He surely was an advocate for justice! His union success is chronicled in numerous articles...& so were his controversial actions, endorsements & more. Larry could engage people of all ages, backgrounds & persuasions in conversations & often into ACTION. Larry Hanley will certainly be missed; that void will be tough to fill! Thank you to Thelma, Monica & Larry, Jr. for sharing your husband/dad to the world.

Larry was my double cousin. An awesome friend and family member! We grew up playing together on Long Island when our families got together on weekends. He and James are like brothers and given our fathers we’re brothers and mothers were sisters, it is easy to see why we were so close. Love ya Larry! You will be missed every day! Bob, Jackie, Katie and Rory Hanley.

I am so sorry to hear of Larry's passing. He will be missed by many more people than anyone could ever imagine. He was one of the few people I have known in my 72 years with vision, vision of the future and where he wanted to be when he got there.
