Obituary of Jose F. Bautista

Jose F. Bautista, age 81, of Manor Heights, passed away on October 20, 2017, at Verrazazo Nursing Home. He was the beloved husband of Florentina (nee Baniqued) for 60 years; loving father of Caridad B. Oliveros and her late husband, Andre, Salvador Bautista and his wife, Teresita, Villamil Bautista and and his wife, Marlyn, Rosalin Bautista and her husband, Henry Vinuya, Florse Oria and her husband, Elmer, Renchie Bautista, and Jupiter Bautista and his wife Armi Donna; cherished grandfather of 16 and great-grandfather of 2; dear brother of Carmela Ramos. Jose was born in the Philippines on October 11, 1936, and emigrated to the United States with his wife in 1995, settling in Dongan Hills. He worked very hard for many years as a construction worker. He loved taking care of his family. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and caring for his fish farm back home, and cooking.
