Obituary of Su Man Baek

Su Man Baek was born in Korea on May 17, 1927. She was the beloved wife of the late Chung Haeng Baek, who passed away in 2000. She was the loving mother of Sally and John and a devoted grandmother of three. She is survived by her dear sisters Hee Bun Kim and Ok Ran Kim,and her brother Hee Ryun Kim. The family immigrated to the United States in 1968. After settling in Staten Island Su Man worked hard to support her family, holding down two full-time jobs for over40 years working as a nurse at the Verrazano Nursing Home and for the State of New York. Su Man cherished her grandchildren, Caroline, Christopher and James, who all admired, loved and respected her for her indomitable spirit, her celebration of life, and her devotion to her family. After a long and blessed life, Su Man passed away peacefully at the Richmond University Hospital on October 17, 2017.
