Obituary of Stephanie "Fanny" Cuomo

On Sunday July 7, 2019, Stephanie "Fanny" Cuomo, loving mother of 6 children: Roseanne, Alfred, Frances, Josephine, Charlie and Stephanie, passed peacefully in her sleep at the age of 88 years old. She was born on December 3, 1930 in Brooklyn, New York. She was the daughter of Geraldo Guart and Josephine Rodriguez. Stephanie will be eternally remembered by her surviving brothers, Joseph Rivera and Gerald Guart. Stephanie will also be remembered by her numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren as well as extended family, friends, neighbors and loved ones. Stephanie was blessed to have had a full life filled with the love of her family and friends. She was witty and loving. Anyone that met her fell in love with her. She had eyes and a smile that would melt your heart. Stephanie was more than a loving mother. She was our friend, confidant and our own personal cheerleader. She took a piece of our heart when she passed. A part of her will forever be in our hearts. Services will be held at: Matthews Funeral Home located at 2508 Victory Blvd, Staten Island, N.Y. 10314. The schedule is as follows: Visitation at the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Wednesday, 7/10, from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral departing from the funeral home on Thursday, 7/11, at 9 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Pity R.C. Church, at 9:30 am. Interment to follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park, Long Island.
