Obituary of Mary Ann Quattrocchi
Mary Ann Quattrocchi
November 19, 1942 – July 11, 2019
Mary Ann, 76, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 11, 2019. She was the beloved sister of Joseph and Vincent and a cherished daughter of her late mother, Mary, and her late father, Angelo (Charlie). She was adored by her companion Chris DeVito. She is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.
Mary Ann lived her life on her own terms. She was born in Brooklyn after which the family moved to a small upstate town, Deposit, New York where she graduated from Deposit High School in 1962. She returned to Brooklyn after graduating to live with her Aunt Ann and Uncle Pete when she started a brilliant career as a tele-typist for the NY Stock Exchange where she worked for 30 years. She moved to Staten Island to the same building complex as her parents living close to them for the rest of their lives.
Mary Ann loved cooking, had a great sense of humor and loved to go to palm readers and psychics. But, most of all, Mary Ann was generous and loved her family. She gave her money when they asked, her strength when they needed and her love without question. She lived her life with honesty, courage and independence.
A memorial service will be celebrated at Matthew Funeral Home, 2508 Victory Boulevard, Staten Island on Friday evening, August 2, 2019 from 5pm to 9pm.
