Obituary of Ralph J. Annibale Sr.

Ralph Annibale, Sr. passed away peacefully on July 16, 2019, just shy of his 93rd birthday. He was the beloved husband of Sadie Annibale. He was a devoted father to.his 2 sons, Ralph Annibale, Jr. and his husband. Rick Simone and Carl Annibale and his wife Cris Annibale. At age 89, he was blessed with a grandson, Marcelo. He is survived by his sister, Estelle. He was a loving brother to the late Michael, Dominick, Theresa, Jessie, Gentile, Carl and Rosalie. A Staten Island native, he was born on July 29, 1926 to Antonio and Camelia. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Navy serving in World War II as a gunner on a carrier vessel. After being discharged from the Navy, he met and married Sadie Zito, spending more than 71 years together. He began to work for Procter & Gamble, of which he gave 39 years of service. Ralph had many passions, including family travel, specialty holiday baking and bowling, of which he touted a perfect 300 score game. As a die-hard Yankee fan, he spent many hours watching and enjoying baseball games. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to the American Heart Association (www.heart.org) in Ralph's honor. Throughout his life, he maintained a commitment to the ideals of the Sacred Heart of Jesus - peace, comfort, grace and refuge. His final bow will be his funeral celebration at the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
