Obituary of Helen C. Wegener

Helen C. Wegener (nee Campbell), age 67, of Mountville, PA, passed away on October 15, 2017. She was the beloved wife of Howard Wegener. She was previously the loving wife of the late Alan Vella (1994). Helen was the devoted mother of Mark Vella and his wife, Taren, Charles Vella and his wife, Danielle, John Vella, and Howard Wegener, Jr. and his wife, Michelle; cherished grandmother of Anthony, Michael, Gianna, Ava, Sophia, Logan, Christopher, and Elisa Vella; dear sister of Andrew Campbell and his wife, Janet, Cathy Moudatsos and her husband, Michael. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews. Helen was born on January 7, 1950, in Greenock, Scotland. She emigrated to the United States at age 16, settling in the Mariners Harbor section of Staten Island. For many years she was employed as a bookkeeper. Some of her hobbies included reading, knitting, and shopping. She especially loved the Christmas season.
