Obituary of Rose J. Negri

Rose J. Negri, 79, of Mariners Harbor, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2019. She was the daughter of the late Dominick and Maria Negri; dear sister of the late Theresa Pennino, and the late Mary Muldoon; loving aunt of Rose Marangio, Lori Russo and her husband, Robert, Sean Muldoon and his wife, Kathy, and the late Susan Avilla; dear great-aunt of 11. Rose was born and raised in Mariners Harbor and was graduated from Port Richmond High School. She was employed for 37 years with the Federal Reserve Bank of NY, as a Check Services Analyst. Some of her hobbies included trips to Atlantic City, playing scratch-off lottery tickets and rooting for the NY Mets. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Thursday, departing at 9:30 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Family R.C. Church at 10 am. Private cremation to follow. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, from 6:00 to 10:00 pm.
