Obituary of Tadeus "Teddy" Midura

Tadeus "Teddy" Midura, age 88. Tadeus passed away peacefully on Sept. 2nd 2019. Teddy was born in 1931. He lived a long and rich life which included esteemed service in the Navy, as well as employment at both Exxon and American Airlines in his younger years. Teddy was a loyal and loving friend, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He has lived in many places throughout his life including Linden, Brick, and Lawrenceburg TN and lastly Staten Island . He is predeceased by his former wife Barbara Berzanskis with whom they shared a daughter Barbara Fazio. Teddy loved being a Dad to Barbara more than anything in the world and his love for her was unconditional .He is also predeceased by his beloved brother, August "Gus" Midura, with whom he shared an impenetrable sibling bond and his sister in law, Lucille Midura. He has many surviving family and friends which include but are not limited to a grandson Christopher Swick, nephew Jimmy Midura, twin nieces Jackie O'Brien and Judy Persch and great grandchildren Shane(13) and Emma(5) and former sister in law's, Rose Aznar and Dolores Stout and brother in law's, Bob Aznar and Charles Stout (deceased) as well as a number of great nephews and nieces. He will be greatly missed by all and remembered for his friendly disposition and loyalty to those whom he loved. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home Inc., 2508 Victory Blvd. On Saturday, 9/7/19, departing at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Adalbert's R.C. Church at 10:00 AM. Entombment will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Linden, NJ. Family and friends may visit on Saturday, 9/7/19, from 8:30 to 9:30 AM.
