To my Dear Friend, don't know where the time went, but I can remember the first time we had met. I was brand new to the neighborhood and was walking my dog Pinto and you where walking your shaggy dog Footsie. You had smiled and waved from across the street and walked over to greet me. That smile lasted through the years, you were the most sincere friend and even when life lead us in different directions and months would go by without contact, when we would happen to meet up, it was like we never skipped a beat. On this day, I am lying in bed while you are being memorialized, my pain worsens because I could not be there to see you off. Please know that I will always love you and it was a honor to call you my friend, we had a great time on your last visit with us here in Florida and those memories I will grasp onto because it was the last one we can make. Thank you for the great memories we had made, the growing pains that we shared, life experiences and most of all, the great friendship we shared. To my childhood friend David AKA "Teddy Bear", I will miss you dearly, the tears roll down my face while I write this send off letter to you. Always thought that we would enjoy retirement together talking about the early days and laughing at every stupid thing we did like getting picked up for shoplifting on the day your little sister was born. We did it all my old friend, good, bad, funny and the plenty of laughs. My heart is truly broken and a big part of my life is now gone. Your smile and hefty laugh will always be etched in my mind. To my most precious Buddy, Rest in Peace. Love Ya!!! Your Old Pal James
