Obituary of Rosemarie Di Bari

Rosemarie Di Bari (nee Bellantoni), 84, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2019, in Howell, NJ. She was the wife of the late Cornelius Robert Di Bari (2012)for 56 years; loving mother of Linda Lovitz and her husband, Billy, Robert Di Bari and his wife, Joyce, and Stephen Di Bari; cherished grandmother of Frank Di Bari, Natalie Trubin and her husband, Justin, Matt Lovitz, Nicholas Di Bari, Jordan Di Bari, Adrienne Di Bari; dear sister of Pat Bellantoni, and the late Francis Bellantoni. Mrs. Di Bari was born in Brooklyn in 1935, raised in Crown Heights, and graduated from High School in Brooklyn. Rosemarie and her husband Robert moved to Staten Island in 1966, settling in Bulls Head. When she was younger she helped mom and dad raise her three brothers. Besides being an amazing wife, mother and grandmother and sister, she was very fond of sewing, baking, and cooking. She was a natural caretaker and was very selfless. Rosemarie was also a member of the Grandmother's Club at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, Inc., on Friday, departing at 9 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Pity R.C. Church at 9:30 am. Interment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
