Obituary of Marion DiFiglia

Dr. Marion DiFiglia, 81 years old passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at the Sharon Hospital, Sharon Connecticut.  Marion was the beloved sister of Charles and Phyllis DiFiglia and the late Joseph and his late wife Marie.  She was the loving aunt of Samuel, Mario, Stephanie, Christine, Larry and Thayer, fond great-aunt of Siobhan, Alanna, Joseph, Maria, Jessica, Samantha, Emma and Jake and beloved companion of the late Joanne Patricola.

Marion was born in Queens, New York.  She became a medical doctor, specializing in nephrology.  She had been residing in both Pine Plains, New York and in Hudson, Florida. Marion was an animal and bird lover and particularly loved her cat “Maggie”.

A Memorial Visitation will be held at the Matthew Funeral Home, 2508 Victory Blvd., Staten Island, New York 10314 on Friday, October 11^th from 9 AM to 10AM.  A Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of Pity RC Church, 1616 Richmond Avenue, Staten Island, New York at 10:30 AM.  Burial of Cremains to follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 10 West Stevens Avenue, Hawthorne, New York 10532.
