Obituary of Pamela La Testa Ruocco

Pamela La Testa Ruocco, 75, a devoted mother, grammy, sister and aunt passed away on October 9th. Pamela was born in Brooklyn and moved to Staten Island in the early 70's. She lived her dream as an actress working in television, movies, commercials and print. She was very strong in her faith. She loved spending time with her family and truly enjoyed opening her home and sharing her table, where everyone was always welcome. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. Pam brought happiness to everyone she met and touched many lives with her positive spirit. Pamela is survived by her children, Lisa (Thomas), Anthony (Lydia), Debra (Butchie), Anthony (Christine) and Tina (Alan), her grandchildren Anthony William, Alyssa Theresa, Julia Rose, Anna, Gena (Andrew), Jordan, sister Barbara, nephew Nicholas, niece Christina and many extended family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child (www.samaritanspurse.org). Visitation at the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Sunday and Monday, from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral Service is scheduled at the funeral home on Tuesday, at 12 noon, with interment to follow in the Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY.
