Obituary of Marie Esposito

Mrs. Marie Esposito (nee Holder), 86, of Tottenville, formerly of Concord, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2019. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony for 48 years; loving mother of Sandy Esposito, and Donna Butindari and her husband, Joseph. Marie was born and raised in Concord, Staten Island, and graduated from New Dorp High School. In her earlier years she was a Secretary in New York City. After her children grew up she went back to work as a Secretary for over 20 years with Community Resources. Some of her hobbies included reading, crossword puzzles, watching Fox News and dining at Jade Island Restaurant. Most importantly she loved spending time with her daughters. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Monday, 11/4, departing at 9:15 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am at St. Sylvester's R.C. Church. Family and friends will be received on Saturday, 11/2, from 1:00 to 5:00 pm.
