Obituary of Edward C. Mikol

Edward C. Mikol Jr., age 63, passed away on November 25, 2019. He was the devoted son of the late Edward C. Mikol Sr. and the late Anne C. Mikol. He also considered himself a "Big Brother" to Eric, Kaitlyn and Ryan. Eddie was a very religious man who was a dedicated usher and parishioner at St. Rita's Church. He was a graduate of the College of Staten Island. Eddie enjoyed watching Yankee games, cooking and most importantly reading his prayer book. He was an extremely smart man; he spoke a variety of languages including Polish, Ukrainian and Russian fluently. Eddie was a great role model to others; he will be remembered as a generous, caring and faithful man who treated other with the utmost respect. He will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure to know him. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Monday, departing at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Rita's R.C. Church at 10 AM. Interment to follow in St. Raymond's Cemetery, Bronx, NY. Family and friends may visit on Sunday, 12/1/19, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
