Obituary of Myrna Albano

Myrna Albano (nee Roth), age 77, of Westerleigh, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2019, at Richmond University Medical Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael (2007) for 41 years, loving mother of Scott Albano and his wife, Colleen, Michelle Albano, Rhonda Alano-Slade and her husband, Noel Slade, and Michael Albano; cherished grandmother of Joseph, Oliver, Benjamin, Aidan, Ryan, and Michael; dear sister of Walter Roth and his wife, Cecile, and Jerome Roth and his wife Marilyn. Mrs. Albano was born in Brooklyn, raised in Boro Park, and was graduated from New Utrecht High School. Myrna relocated to Staten Island in 1970. She worked for many years as a Bookkeeper for the family business M. Albano Carting. Myrna was an avid Mets fan and some of her other hobbies included trips to Atlantic City, and traveling on cruise ships. Visiting at the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Wednesday, from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral service at the funeral home on Thursday at 10 am. Interment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
