Obituary of Albert Salvio

Albert Salvio, age 101, passed away on December 22, 2019. He was the devoted son of the late John and Lucy Salvio. He was the beloved husband of the late Anna Salvio (nee Stola). He was the loving father of Joan Baronick and her husband Michael. He was the cherished Poppy of Tracey Sozzi-Wilson and her husband Michael Wilson and Michael Baronick and his wife Kelly. He was the dear great grandfather of Thomas Sozzi, Nicole Sozzi, Mikey Baronick and his wife Kaitlyn, Anthony Sozzi, Dylan Baronick and Michael Wilson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Albert loved his family very much. Over the years, he would visit his family members at their homes to spend time and enjoy a cup of coffee with them. In his spare time he would go to the mall where he would see familiar faces and get to know many of the workers. He made such an impression on them over the years that they would have a cup of coffee waiting for him when he arrived. Albert was a loving, caring, and generous person who will be remembered as a kind hearted man who will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure to know him. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home Inc., 2508 Victory Blvd. On Friday, 12/27/19, departing at 10:00 AM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady of Pity R.C. Church at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Family and friends may visit on Thursday, 12/26/19, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:30 to 9:30 PM.
