Obituary of Emanuella Pagliaro-Nuzzo

Emanuella Pagliaro-Nuzzo, 90, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2020. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Pagliaro (1982); loving mother of Alexander Pagliaro and his wife Patricia, Mary Cordero and her husband Ricardo, the late Anthony Pagliaro; dear mother in law of Maria Pagliaro; cherished grandmother of Christie Tronolone and her husband Joe, Michael Pagliaro and his wife Nicole, Jennifer Cordero, Joseph Cordero and his wife Nicole, Anthony and Christopher Pagliaro; devoted great-grandmother of eight. She was predeceased by five siblings. Emanuella was born in Brooklyn, raised in Sunset Park and graduated from High School in Brooklyn. She relocated to Staten Island about 20 years ago. Mrs. Pagliaro was a people person who was a social butterfly. She thoroughly enjoyed cooking and entertaining her family and friends. Some of her specialties included pasta fagiole, fried artichoke hearts, meatballs, chicken cutlets. The most important thing in life to Emanuella was her family, especially her children and grandchildren. Funeral service at the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Thursday, at 10 am. Interment to follow in St. John's Cemetery, Middle Village, NY. Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday from 4:00 to 9:00 pm.
