Obituary of Roseann Caggiano

Roseann Caggiano, 74, of Monroe Township, NJ, formerly of Travis, Staten Island, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2020, at Princeton University Medical Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard; loving mother of Buster Caggiano and his wife Nicole, Christine Angel and her husband John, Sandra Schembri and her husband Michael, and Jaclyn Seidenfaden and her husband William; cherished grandmother of Sean, Dominick, Michael, Sofia, Arianna, Matteo, John, Sienna and Giavanna; devoted great-grandmother of Giuliana, Gianluca, Marcella; dear sister of Beverly Demasi and her husband Vincent, Patricia Cusumano , Linda Van Name. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Mrs. Caggiano was born on Staten Island, raised in Port Richmond, and graduated from Port Richmond High School. Some of her passions included music and dancing, trips to Atlantic City, and playing bingo in her younger years. Her signature dish was her lasagna and on Christmas morning she always made her famous "eggs and gravy." Her most favorite time was time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Friday, departing at 9:45 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church at 10:30 am. Interment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 10:00 pm.
