My memories go back to Chester Ave ( playing in the alley). We were always welcome open arms and great times with a large family. Then to Harold St....BBQs were the best...Thanksgiving ...Christmas.... Anytime we were there, Aunt Betty would always welcome us (always with an apron on, make us feel at home which we always did! When I got married and then had children, I was fortunate to be the recipient of a Betty Frunzi Bride Doll and Baby blankets.... Those gifts were ones I treasure, she made them for ME! Still to this day they are my prized possession (ok the doll has lost a leg, but 31 years the rest is still in tact and on my china closet!) I pray she is at peace with the angels..reunited with her Mom...Uncle Hank..Raquel and her babies.... To her children..Linda, Peter, John, Mark and Nancy...to all her Grand and Great Grands..you have my deepest sympathy, she was a wonderful woman. May the perpetual light shine upon her....

My grandma was one of the greatest people that I have ever known. Grandma, I love you so much and I am so blessed to have had you in my life. You were always there for anyone of us grandkids whenever we needed you. I will always remember the Sunday dinners at your house, me coming home from school and telling you about the days events, you telling me stories about you and grandpa, all of the holidays, the beautiful knitting that you would always do and just being there to talk to and hug. Now you are reunited with your mom, grandpa and Raquel and I know they have missed you and have been waiting for you. Give grandpa and Raquel a hug for me. Rest In Peace grandma, until I see you again.

Mom You got us through the best of times and the hardest times. It didn't matter what we faced, and we faced alot, you always placed your five kids first. never missed a Christmas,Birthday,Sunday Dinner, anything. All of us, and only us, your children, know what you gave up to make our lives the best you could make them, and for that I thank you.The most memorable was when I had encephalitis and couldn't move a wink. The Dr said head cold, you said no I know my son.Dad had to carry me on his huge shoulders lay me in the back seat of the car and we went to the specialist who put me in the hospital for a month. You had that huge, gigantic Easter egg in the refrigerator for me and a huge dinner to welcome me home.Or when Nancy and I showed up with our department of people from Shearson to go in the pool. rather than get mad, you and Dad made a barbecue for everyone. Making old hand me downs look new, supporting Dad by waking up with him at 4 am to make him breakfast, and then lunch on his lunch breaks. Sometimes forgetting who i was in the Home when we visited you, but you always remembered Michael. How you brought us through and problem we faced, never once wavering. You placed all of us first, every time,no matter what the situation, weather we were right or wrong,we came first, and I will always love you for that. Love John,Jodi,Michael.

I am so happy my mom is with my Dad and Raquel in Jesus’s arms and at Gods table. I would pray with my mom every time I went to see her. She was afraid to be alone and I would tell her Mom you are never alone Jesus is always with you and she would smile. Psalm 23 was her favorite. I shall dwell in the house of the lord forever! I love you Mom Nancy

I came into your family a little later than the rest. I never got to meet your husband or sit at the table on Harold Street that everyone speaks about. You however treated my daughters and I like we were part of it all from the beginning. You said to me many times I know you love my son I see it in your eyes when you look at him. You made us laugh with your stories of memories past. Even though your hands would hurt with arthritis you still hemmed a dress or school uniform for my girls. I know you are finally at peace with your Mom, your husband and beautiful Raquel. I know she and I shared a love of Prince and his tribute was on last night....I think that was a sign to Linda that you two are together. Please rest knowing how much I love your son and your family. I promise to take care of him just as you did. And know I look at him just as you did with loving adoring eyes. You gave me a gift and I will always cherish it.
Love,
Beth

What a wonderful tribute to "Aunt" Betty. I always remember those BBQ's at the house in Staten Island. Especially playing in that cool pool that took up the entire yard! The fun we had back then stays with me always and the memories don't seem to fade with the years. Betty is at peace and in the arms of love of our generous Creator. Surrounded by everyone that went before.
Rest in Peace Aunt Betty and know that we will all be joined together again.

Grandma- you were so many things to so many people...everyone loved you...I can’t remember a time you were not with me....loving, encouraging or supporting me not just as a young child but through my entire adult life. I’m so conditioned to you always being here. I found a Christmas card last night you wrote to Isabella from long ago...you thanked her for making you a Great Grandma. That melted my heart...I’ll treasure it forever. The best way to honor you is to live my life hoping to be at least half as good as you were to always put my family first, to love & nurture them always. You dedicated your entire life to your family and now you deserve to rest. Now you have the best seat in the house where you can keep watch over us. I will keep you in my heart for the rest of my life. Thank you for the unconditional love you always showed & thank you for the gift of your time...you shared so freely with everyone. The girls miss you so much...watch over your great grandchildren.

Mom....
Never thought I would miss a trip to the nursing home but I am AND I'm so happy that I made so many of them to be with you.... I can still see you waving to me across the room smiling when I walked in with dessert (jelly donut)!!
For as many times you have told me how proud you were of me is as many times I told you and Dad I am the man I am because of the 2 of you... The kids are missing you and talk so much of you with all good memories filling their heads. You were the best of moms and I wouldnt change my childhood for anything just know that all of you has been passed down to my kids and that in itself is a blessing... I close my eyes and see your smile... I continue with all my heart to pray for you and want you to know we will take it from here it is now your time to rejoice relax and enjoy the comfort of Dads arms the much love with your mom and all the kisses you said you had for Raquel...
No more pain Mom no more suffering Mom just everlasting life with God... I'll look for the signs and hope it's as beautiful as you imagined.... I love you mom I'll never forget you and I'll miss you always
Love Mark (#3) LOL

Mom I chose this photo because this was the day I broke you out of that home for some freedom and a drive and after I took this photo at the red light you told me "GO GO DRIVE FAST" I love you!

Dear Mom,
I am writing to let you know we are all okay. We miss you more than words can say. Your unconditional love was felt by so many people.
From sewing my beautiful dresses when I was little, to enduring the teen age years, and everything after, you left me with beautiful memories that will last a life time.
I have tried to keep all my promises to you. I am so heartbroken. I don't believe any one is ever prepared to loose a parent no matter how old we are.
I know you were met by your mom who filled you with hugs and kisses galore, then dad said,"okay Bessie, now its my turn". He also said now I need a good bowl of pasta. and Raquel, well she said thank god, cause dad was making her crazy...Anyway, I know you are in good hands now with people who love you. No more pain or suffering. God only takes the best into his arms and kingdom to live in eternal peace.
Be at peace! Rest and enjoy the eternal kingdom of God!
All my love, always and forever,
Linda
