I was so sorry to learn of John's passing today. I was always impressed by how John stayed connected with the law enforcement community through the beautiful work he did creating commemorative plaques, trophies, and other mementos. For many years, I'd stop by his garage/workshop where he would be working quietly on his next creation, and no matter how busy he was, he always had time to share a story about the old days in the police department, or about the early work he did for the Mets and other clients. My sincere condolences go out to his daughter who he often spoke of as well! Rest in peace, John.

Very sorry to learn of John's passing. He worked with my uncle & for many years was my favorite go to person for plaques. It always took a long time to pick up a plaque thanks to the many stories he told. I enjoyed every one of them! May he rest in eternal peace. Fidelis Ad Mortem!

Donna and Michael and family: So many years behind us. Ironically I looked up Donna’s married surname about two nights ago out of curiosity, which eerily foreshadowed seeing Dad’s obituary. I’m saddened by Dad’s loss, as well as just how long it’s been since Mom passed away. I will always remember Carreau Avenue, and Grandma living downstairs, as well as Dad’s second career making NYPD memorabilia. I know it’s been years but I just want to extend my sincere condolences on your huge loss, and to let you know I’m thinking of you at this very sad time. John is my brother. He was the most wonderful, kind and loving person. Angelo and I had the blessing of sharing many special memories with John and his late wife, Liz, whether on vacation or just sitting around our kitchen table. I will miss him always and pray that Jesus keeps him in His tender loving care.
