To my grandma and Haylee’s great-grandma — There’s so much I wish I could tell you right now, but I know you knew I loved you. I loved our dinners at Jade Island, and the plastic mermaids you’d give me from your cocktails. I loved when you used to make your famous salad dressing, and how happy it made you when I said it was so good I could drink it. The little things made you happy, and seeing you smile made me happy. I’m so happy you not only got to see the birth of your only great grandchild, but that you got to watch her grow into a beautiful little girl. She just loved spending time with you and Rich, and she misses you dearly. We love you always Grams. Sleep sweet. - Sammy

To my East 8th street family my deepest condolences to you all for the loss of your mom ,grandma Lorraine . We all shared a lot of memories together my favorite is going to Brighton beach on the bus together your mom love to sun tan and always dressed to impress ! I remember sitting in your living room and we would watch her dance lessons.I loved her meatballs ! Loved the way our moms would get together every night for coffee .she is dancing in heaven rest with the Lord Lorraine I am sure she's having coffee with gertie already. I remember the first time I met Lorraine she was dressed to impress , she owned the dance floor and danced all night. I remember her making baked clams for my hubby after he completed her tax returns. She would tell him “ I put a lot of garlic the way you like them” she was so gracious and would tell him i can make them for you anytime. He loved those clams. I have the best memory of her when we went on a cruise and she made us all laugh on her technique on finding her room. How she made us laugh that week. She worshiped the sun but most of all she worshipped her family. You will be dearly missed Lorraine , keep dancing , Iam sure all the angels surrounding you will dance along with you. Dance one with my hubby, he too was one good dancer. Love you

Lorraine, my forever friend, business partner, and beach buddy. We danced and laughed together. Your kids were my kids, (my bookends!). You had courage during difficult times and knew how to share the simplest joys of everyday. You always lived big. I grieve for your girls no longer having you there every day.
