Sarina posted a condolence

Last night my angel on earth was called home. MY LADYBUG, WHERE DO I BEGIN. My sidekick, my confidant, ass pincher, my shadow. You were a wife, mother, grandma, great grandma, ladybug and friend. You were a survivor x2 1st cancer, then COVID, you managed to avoid covid and practically laugh in its face. You told me every day when I reminded you why we were still on isolation " oo enough already with the goddam virus, IM BORED OUT OF MY HEAD". I am by no means the best catholic in the world, but I know for sure that it was your unwavering belief in God and the Catholic Church that got you through and kept you safe from COVID. I will cherish all the memories of the past 2 1/2 years of taking care of you. All our long talks when you would crash through the doors of the nurse’s station just to sit with me while I did my notes. All the ass pinches you gave me and Kristina as you zoomed by in your wheelchair. The millions of bananas you demanded a day, only piping hot food that would burn anyone’s fingers but somehow you managed to eat it, All the cups of coffee we went for in cafe before covid, the life lessons, beauty secrets. Moisturize every day Sarina , YOUR 130PM WEDNESDAY HAIR APPOINTMENT that you started to get ready for at 6am in morning lol, all the " please don't call my daughter", all the tissues you managed to stuff anywhere you found space, your pocketbook that you slept with every night and never left your side, the 9,000 rosary beads you went through, along with the 5 pouches/purses u kept in the bag, your cell phone that you never heard lol ,the time your prayed over my stomach when I wasn't feeling well, all the chapel visits you made me take you too and made me do the rosary with you and I prayed that I remembered how to do it from all my years of catholic school, all the Starbucks decaf mocha fraps that were bigger than you, spilling the family tea lol, coffee ice cream time (thank you Barbara husband Charlie). You were the sweetest lady, but when you needed to put me in my place you did lol. Thank you, Annie cakes, for the extended family you gave me in your children and granddaughter. I could go on forever with all the memories we share, and although it’s sad that you are physically gone from this earth, I know it was your time, no more suffering, you are home now with Pop and Kenny. I love you my sweet Lady bug, fly high in the sky my sweet angel, give em hell. Love Sarina

Although I had only met Mrs. Arhakos several times, I knew she was a great woman who loved her Family very much, raising them to be the great people who they are today. Happy to call her Son Nick my friend.
Rest In Peace Mrs. Arhakos.
