She was the loving mother of Charles and his wife Barbara, Blanchemarie LaLima and her husband Richard and her son Nick. She was the cherished grandmother of Tara, Danielle and Nicholas and great-grandmother of two. She is also survived by her step-grandson Phil. Ann attended and graduated from Saint Edmund High School in Brooklyn. She worked at her family-owned business, Video Post – video rentals. Ann was a devoted parishioner of St. Rita's R.C. Church. She did volunteer work, teaching reading to children at St. Rita's School. She was a member and officer of St. Rita's Ladies Guild. Ann enjoyed fundraising for the parish by organizing Chinese Auctions, bake sales and other events. She collected gifts for unwed mothers at Richmond University Medical Center (formerly St. Vincent's Hospital). Ann was a beloved member of the "LadyBugs." They were a group of friends from St. Rita's Church of many years. She spoke daily with the other "Bugs" and dressed in Lady Bug attire. All the ladies were very close and would go out for monthly lunches. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Rita's R.C. Church or Carmel Richmond Nursing Home (Check payable to Carmelite Sister's, 88 Old Town Road, SI, NY 10304) in Ann's memory.
