Erika is the most genuine person and greatest friend. She always had a smile on her face and would do anything for the people she loved. She will be greatly missed every day. The light she is in the world will always remain in our hearts. Sending prayers to everyone affected.

Erika was one of the first few people I met through Christian in Staten Island, she always made me feel welcomed, always asked how I was doing, and her family had always been so inviting when we all came around to hang out with her. Every memory I’ve made with her has always been positive, you have always been the token party girl Erika, there’s no one on this planet that could ever take that from you. Erika and I met in 2006 when my family moved into the house next door. Who knew kicking a ball around in the street together would lead to 16 years of friendship. Even though Erika is three years younger than me, she’s taught me so many things about life, love and most importantly, how to have fun! I was blessed to have her in my life and will cherish our memories. She may be gone from earth, but she will live forever in my heart. Until we meet again pal, I love you.
