Obituary of Erika Ann Perlaki
Erika Ann Perlaki, 24, of Staten Island, NY passed away surrounded by her family on July 23, 2022. She was the beloved daughter of Edward and Susan Perlaki (nee Schipani), cherished sister of Edward Jr. and Michael Perlaki.
Erika leaves behind her grandmother, Maryann Schipani, her grandparents, Anna and Engelbert Perlaki, and the late Ray Schipani as well as her loving aunts and uncles, Elizabeth and Glenn D'Alessandro, Maryann DiFalco and late husband Michael DiFalco, and Stephen Schipani, as well as many cousins, James D'Alessandro, Anthony D'Alessandro, Jessica Schipani, and Stephen Schipani, and also her Godparents, Lisa Espina and Michael DiFalco. There were so many other special people in her life – too many to mention but who know how special they were to her.
Erika was born in Staten Island, NY. She attended St. Rita's elementary School and St John's Villa Academy High School. She graduated from East Stroudsburg University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science and was enrolled to begin studying for her masters at the same university in the fall. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially sitting around the campfire, and spending time with her family and friends. She loved listening to country music and vacationing in Nashville. Her smile could light up a room and she touched many hearts. Although we know that she is finally at peace, she will be deeply missed and loved by all.
