We pray God’s peace and comfort over la hermana Blanca, Luke, Judith, and the entire family and brethren as we bid farewell to a great man of God. Regardless of time or distance, we will always consider Pastor Padilla our pastor under whose discipling we came to know Jesus more deeply as individuals, as a couple and as a family. We are grateful that Jaselle and Aaron benefitted from the emphasis he placed on Children’s ministry, including camp, Royal Rangers and Missionettes. We are grateful that our Pastor opened the doors of the church and took to the streets - the outdoor service where Ray accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior and then the opportunity to respond to community needs with Pastor Padilla. I will never forget the day Pastor Padilla prayed the Jabez prayer over me and a whole new world opened up for me. Pastor Padilla, you blessed us and we are grateful to God that he led us to Bay Ridge Christian Center and to you, your beautiful family and a community of Christ followers that we haven’t found again.
