Dear Genivieve, Children & Family of Jim Romano. It is with heartfelt sorrow that I have to send these condolences to you for this sad circumstance. I only had the honor & pleasure of knowing Jim for less than 3 Years when I started bowling with him. And being a retired FDNY fire officer, & father, we immediately had something in common. And bowling with him over that period allowed me to get to know him. He was fun to be with & to get to know some of his family through conversations. I appreciated him & the time we spent together. When he got sick earlier this month I became very concerned for him & his family. When he felt better & went home I was encouraged that he was getting better & felt good for his family. I know that his passing had to be a crushing shock to them. I definitely felt the shock. Genivieve, & Family, may Jim rest in eternal peace & always be remembered for all of his wonderful traits & dedication to his family & friends. I am sorry that I could not make the wake & Funeral as I was out of town for the week.

So sorry for your loss. We’re so happy to have known Jim and have him as a neighbor for so long. We have wonderful memories of him and he was always so helpful to us as new homeowners

What a guy! I’m sure that’s the first thing myself and everyone who knew him says when they talk about Mr. Romano. I will always treasure how well he treated me as a tenant and as a friend. I think he is going to be the only one in heaven with a pair of snowshoes, (private joke). Prayers to Mrs. Romano and his entire family and all that will miss him. Mr Romano asked me to call him by his first name and I never did. Today I say, Jimmy, Rest In Peace
