Mary Rose was my older sister, by one year! We did a lot of firsts together, including First Holy Communion! We were born and lived in Travis on Cannon Avenue, then moved to our Grandma Simon's farmhouse for a few years and finally our family settled in Annadale. There Mary met the love of her life, Ricky, and they moved to Travis. She was the epitome of hospitality, many times we went there every Sunday morning for pancakes! and of course, the Fourth of July Barbecues!! I'm gonna miss you dearly my sister Mary Rose, thankful that we had fun together

My favorite memories of my Aunt Mary Rose were the times I spent with her and my sister during snow-days in elementary and middle school. I still vividly remember sitting with Aunt Mary Rose on the couch in her living room, watching Wheel of Fortune and playing with toys. May she rest in peace.

We will remember my dear Aunt Mary Rose full of energy and strength, ready to lift you off your feet. As a woman of action who jumped in to lend a helping hand , while cracking a joke to lift your spirits. My favorite memory of Aunt Mary Rose is her decked out in her most patriotic outfit dancing in the street at the annual Travis 4th of July parade, celebrating with her family & friends.

I'll always remember Mary Rose as someone with a wonderful sense of humor. My siblings and I shared many laughs with Mary Rose during events when we were with our Edkins cousins.
