I spent too many last calls with Claire. We became fast friends & she got me through many tough times. Through our conversations we got to know each other's families & I got to know some of her family members in person. She enjoyed going with me to my Pocono house & shopping all over East Stroudsburg. She loved it there & I loved having her. I know the last few years have been tough on her, but she never tired of talking about her old Kelly's friends when I saw her or when we spoke on the phone. The thing that made her happiest was talking about her grandchildren. Her face lit up. Good friends are hard to find, but I found one in Claire. I loved Claire & will miss her. I send my deepest condolences to her family. I'm sure she left you with many fond memories.

So incredibly sorry for the loss of Claire. I knew her fairly well because of my Aunt Phyllis. Whenever I would visit my aunt on Staten Island there was a good chance I would see Claire or have my aunt pass along a kind message from her wishing me well. I will forever remember her kindness and her creative ways. She had such an artistic knack and was always crafting up something. I came in possession of many "Claire Creations" over the years from adorable scrunchies as a kid to a shirt pillow buddy during my dorm years of college. I still have a very sweet sixteenth birthday present from her. I am glad she is at peace, joining my Aunt Phyllis in the afterlife. Hopefully they are watching over us all. Again, my deepest condolences for your loss. Claire was one of a kind!

Sincere condolences to Jodi, Sophia and family. Wishing you comfort in the smiles of happy memories. Claire was a member of the family in our neighborhood bar, and her last call always had us needing sunglasses as we left the bar. Such happy days, and I’m proud to say she was a friend.
