With our sincere sympathy to Carolyn, Stephen, and Victoria and Patrick and his family as well. We remember Uncle Leo and Aunt Pauline's immeasurable joy and thanksgiving at Douglas's birth. We celebrated the marriage of Carolyn and Douglas thirty years ago and had the most wonderful time at the wedding and reception. We delighted and cherished Aunt Pauline and Uncle Leo's stories of babysitting their grandchildren. May the divine assistance remain always with us. Doug we became friends when our sons were in St. Clare together. I also played softball with you for the Dugout for two years. We had so many great times after the games and also many times in your backyard during the Summer along with the Murphys. May you rest in Heavenly eternal peace Doug. Doug was not only a great friend, but he was a helping, kind, and always smiling neighbor. He will truly be missed on Bartlett Ave. Whenever you saw Doug he was always either playing with Colt or working around the house. But always had good things to say with his great smile. Doug, Not only are you my neighbor, co worker and best friend. You are family. I will cherish all our fun memories from holidays to birthday celebrations , random Manhattan trips or going to see my cousins band play in pa or even just hanging out on the weekends. As I promised I will always look out for the family and be there for them . It's not good bye, it's I'll see you later. Love you brother. Rest in peace. I miss my partner in crime.
