I will always remember being called to the phone as a child to speak to Auntie Mary, and her kindness in sending us parcels (I can still see the brown paper and remember the glamour of seeing the American stamps!) Our sad loss is Heaven's gain. With love to Al, and my Mum (Kathleen) and all of our family and friends. Dolores Taylor-Keane (neé Keane) & my husband Dan Taylor. May you rest in peace now Mary. xx

I only saw Aunt Mary a few times but we spoke many times on the phone. However, having seen her when I was aged around 10 years, I was fortunate to see her again with Al when they were in the UK in 2016 & 2017. In 2016 she also met my partner Jenni who also had many telephone conversations with Mary before and since. She was always lovely and engaging. We will miss her greatly. Condolences to Al, Kathleen (my mother), her other siblings, Bernard and Tommy and extended family and friends. Gerard Keane & Jennifer Bond

Mary was our neighbor and a very good friend. She had an unmatched passion for history and would talk very knowledgably about world events throughout time. She would tell stories about her life in Ireland, England, America and her many travels around the world. We will miss her very much and not ever forget her. Christopher, Andrea, Bobby and Katherine Browne

Mary was my father's first cousin and as they both moved to New York within a few years of one another, were very close and understood each other in a way very few people did. She loved my father, Michael, very much and I know was devastated by his loss and always kept in touch with my mother and I for over 30 years. She will be very missed by us and we will keep her in our thoughts and hearts. With love, Caroline, Helga and Isabella
