Obituary of Florence White

Beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Friend
July 14, 1938 – September 12, 2024

Florence White, a devoted mother, grandmother, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2024 at the age of 86. Born on July 14, 1938, in Brooklyn, New York, Florence spent her early years in the borough where she later met and married the love of her life, James White Sr., who preceded her in death.

Florence began her career as a secretary in New York City, but her greatest joy came from dedicating herself to raising her family as a full-time homemaker. After living in Brooklyn and Staten Island, Florence eventually made Lincroft, New Jersey her home, where she found a warm and loving environment.

She also found happiness in simple pleasures, such as spending time with her family, watching Hallmark shows, classic films and embracing her faith, which was her guiding light throughout life.
Florence is survived by her devoted children, James White and Gracelyn DeLucia. She was also a proud grandmother to Laura, Julianna, and Raquel, who adored her and will forever cherish the memories they shared.

Florence’s unwavering love, radiant smile, and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her family and friends take comfort in the many beautiful memories they hold and will carry forward her legacy of kindness, faith, and love.
