Found my Little Soror Tanya Brown on FB back in 2018. During our initial reconnection she was going through some things and dealing with the death of her sister Tammy. We had that in common. We were both mourning our sisters named Tammy. I was dealing with numerous hip surgeries and extended rehab stays. We began corresponding through messenger from time to time through the years. It always brought a smile to my face when she would send a "Good Morning" or "Have a Beautiful Day" post. We always promised to “get together soon”. Unfortunately life got to lyfing and this never happened. I have so many fond, funny memories of life at Buff State and being in the sorority with Tanya. We hung out as a group quite a lot. Almost daily. We were part of a true sisterhood. Tanya's passing came as such a surprise to me because I had just received one of her thoughtful messenger text from her on Aug 25th. Now I pray that her soul is at rest and enjoying being united once again with her beloved sister Tammy. ♥️ Give my Tammy a kiss too. Soror Stephanie

My sincere condolences to the family, friends and clients. This is a tremendous loss to all. She was a phenomenal clinician, colleague and a true friend! She assisted in the start up of Affective LCSW Services PLLC! Her dedication and commitment was unwavering! Giving care, empathy , inspiration, support and hope to all! It was truly a blessing to know her personally and professionally! Thank you lord for giving us such a blessing!

Tanya was one of the biggest impacts in my life, she taught me things in ways no one else had before. Her gracefulness and kindness have been such guiding characteristics to me and so many around her. She will be immensely missed.
