Obituary of Frank Senerchia

Frank Senerchia passed away on January 1, 2025. He was born on February 10, 1952 to Frank and Josephine Senerchia on Staten Island and grew up in Port Richmond.  He attended Staten Island Community College and John Jay College.  After a twenty-year career with the NYPD, he retired as a Detective 2nd Grade in 1993, and formed his private investigative company, Orion Investigations, where he continued to work cases through this week.   

He is survived by his wife, Diane (Sweeney) who was the love of his life, his siblings Joedy Lo Presto, Heidi Mount, Anthony, Annette Riordan, and his sister-in-law, Roseann Sweeney, as well his cherished nephews, nieces, and a growing generation of grandnieces and grandnephews.  Frank was the rock of his family, a source of strength and unwavering support.   Frank also treasured his close friendships with many dear friends.     

Frank was an avid golfer, especially with friends at the Richmond County Country Club. He was a passionate gardener who took pride in his tomatoes each summer, as well as grilling at home. He enjoyed dining out and a good meal.   He also took pride in driving his classic sports cars.
