Obituary of Charles T. Roeser

Charles T. Roeser, 93, of New Springville, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2019. He was the beloved husband of the late Pauline; dear brother of Gertrude Pascale, the late Catherine Colabella, and the late Alfred Roeser; loving uncle of Charles Pascale, Josephine Pascale, Tommy and Christine Colabella, Frank and Shirley Colabella, Todd and Carol Colabella , and Kathy and Rick Lomabardo. Mr. Roeser was born in Brooklyn in 1926 and raised there. He also resided in Queens and Staten Island. After high school, he enlisted and served proudly in the U.S. Navy. For many years he worked for the N.Y.C. M.T.A, as a supervisor in Coney Island. He also had jobs with Arma Precision Instruments and Holmes Security. Some of his hobbies included hunting, fishing, trips to Atlantic City and tinkered with various home projects and crafting models. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Thursday, departing at 9 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Stanislau Kostka R.C. Church at 10 am. Entombment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
